Arrival of Computer Components

Most of the parts for my new computer build arrived today. They were:

• Intel Core i5 2500K 3.3GHz
• Asus P8Z68-V PRO/GEN3 Motherboard
• Corsair TX 750W V2 PSU
• OCZ 120GB Vertex 3 SSD

I went with the OCZ Vertex 3 instead of the Agility 3 after what Jack Thorpe said on my previous post; “The important thing here is to make sure you’re getting a drive with synchronous memory on it, this makes them better for 4k read & write which makes up a large percentage of disk access”. The Vertex 3 is a model above the Agility 3 because it uses synchronous memory, it was only about £20 more so I thought I would go for it.

Really looking forward to getting it built :D
