Introducing Flashdeck – a flashcards app for WP7

This is the new app I’ve been working on since my last post about the CAG app. I thought of what would actually be useful and can be accomplished in the time I have and a flashcards app would be a good idea. I know there are a few on  the Windows Phone marketplace already but after use, I didn’t really like them. I don’t think they used the Metro UI in the right way, and they weren’t easy to use. I’m hoping to bring a better experience and some new features to a flashcards app. I have currently completed making:

  • The data structures and storage system
  • The menus for viewing cards/decks
  • The ability to add, edit and delete decks

I hope to fill in that main menu soon, with features like:

  • Search decks
  • Deck shuffle/viewing options
  • Quiz/test the user
  • Statistics of the user’s previous quizzes
  • Settings/about

Flashdeck should be finished within a couple of weeks, I hope people like it :)
